Gotta love being in college, especially when the Government pays for your new laptop through a Student Grant. I got an Acer ASPIRE 4810TZ. Therefore, I'm now able to run and manage my work on the move. It happened just in time, too, because the EMachines PC I've been using is just about as worthless as a bucket of elephant piss. I was shooting for buying a Dell notebook - but this was free, and will work fine. My only problem is getting these Vista permission windows to leave me the **** alone.

Finally! After what seemed like an eternity of waiting, I finally received my student loan, and yesterday I went to pick up my newest piece of equipment - the Canon 50D. This thing is just nuts. I'm having a blast messing around with it so far. The only drawback I find (which isn't even really a problem unless you're just lazy) with it is that on Liveview mode, it doesn't auto-focus. They pretty much built that in to work with tripod-steady shots, so you don't have to squint and struggle looking through the viewfinder.
